Domestic Violence? Teens?

I was eating lunch one day with a few people,and a woman asked me about the different workshops and seminars that I do, and when I mentioned a Teen Dating Violence seminar one woman said , "Huh, teens don't have a problem with that...". and because of how passionate I am about this topic I initially wanted to respond with"Umm where have you been? You obviously don't watch the news, or are never around teens.." But I didn't, because at that point I realized that not many people are aware about teen dating violence (that's why I do what I do). Instead I told her about my personal experience as well as the experiences of many people that I know, and I told her about the statistics, and recommended a few resources to her :-). But I said all of that to say.....

WHAT: Seminar for teens age 13-18 designed to create an awareness about teen domestic violence and unhealthy relationships. During the "See it, Stop it, Prevent it" seminar there will be a short skit on how to and how not to walk away from an unhealthy relationship, 15 min video presentation on teen dating violence, an educational interactive workshop on warning signs and how to avoid unhealthy relationships, a session on the role that self esteem plays on unhealthy relationships, and finally what can young women do to help stop and prevent teen datingviolence.
