Homeless Among Us

You've just had a very filling dinner with some girlfriends at your favorite restaurant on a Friday night in December. You left your fabulous coat at home because it was not that cold when you left and plus this gives you a chance to show off your outfit..yeah the one you bought specifically for this girls night out- the Adriano Goldschmied jeans and the Burberry puff sleeve blouse. But as you are leaving, you've noticed that the temperature has dropped drastically since you have been inside the restaurant to 38 degrees. You didn't valet your car, and your pissed because you have to walk a block to get to you car in the Stuart Wetzman booties that barely fit you :(. As your walking you think to you self, "It's cold as H*&%!"...But in the back of your mind you are also thinking about the people who have to sleep out side in this cold for the rest of the winter because they are homeless. Then you start thinking of how thankful you really are for everything that you do have and everything that you can do.

November is National Homeless Youth Awareness Month. The majority of young people that runaways from home eventually become homeless. There are over 1 million homeless and youth runaways in America right now. To learn more about how you can help or be of service to this cause please visit :
